  1. UK investment in its own economy has been dire for more than a decade and there are no signs that this is going to change anytime soon. Rachel Reeves recently stated that sterling was not a reserve currency (even though it is) and would not be able to use our own sovereign currency to create money for investment as the US has done.

  2.  @Nobumblegumforyou  Since Friedman and Hayek in the 1940s and then Reagan and Thatcher in the 1980s, a flawed neoliberalism has swept across the western world delivering the 2008 financial crash and as you say, is still entrenched with us today.
