I stopped buying travel health insurance if I was going to The UK and in earlier years didn’t buy any health travel insurance when I went to Canada, , it took me years to absorbed and understand it’s all free. My friends in. Both countries tell me in case of any emergency just go to any hospital and you will be treated without any discrimination , it’s only in recent years occasionally I heard some Canadian hospitals may or may not asking for more details for some sort of “billing “ minor fees to Americans or non Canadian citizens. But no one comes after you for payment where u have to sell your house and possessions to pay for medical procedure in Canada,  Up is much better system, covers dental and vision for all and tons of medications to the point I thought they wasted medications or over prescribed them.. why the fuck can’t we have that here.
