Excellent video, but not sure how foreign students applications to Canadian universities works, but here, foreign students have to show proof they are financially capable to pay the student tuition fees ( foreign student rates which are higher than American born) plus cost of living to the US embassy / consulate abroad before these student issued a student visas and arrive to the US, and once here they can work part time just like Canada, rationale is ....limited working hours to curb or avoid taking away jobs from American citizens. Not sure how in this particular case , the hard working student was issued student visa in first place if he was struggling to make tuition fees and cost of living.
