  2. I agree that we should consider the stories of our forebears! I reckon the disappearance of Atlantis (an even older memory of our ancestors) had more to do with the isostatic (post-glacial) rebounding of the land under the Laurentide Ice Sheet. As the ice melted, the rebounding could have caused isostatic depression or some sort of of corresponding drawing-down force on the Mid-Atlantic. Simply put, with the great weight removed, the north of North America went up and the Azores area went down. Atlantis disappeared not so much from sea level rise but from land level fall. Maybe this happened slowly, but - if the stories are to be believed - it could have happened suddenly if the North American rebound was also sudden, as it would be from a hypothesised comet impact on the glacier. It was strange commenting on an ABC video. How gracious of you to enable comments!

  7. Seems to me more like Tulsi expertly played Joe, leading him into linking a lot of his annoyance at woke culture, etc, with the Palestinian struggle. Her perspective on Israel/Palestine is clear and she clearly wanted to talk about it but deftly managed to get Joe to do most of the talking around it in a way that straw-mans the argument (ie - queers for palestine, lol) and supports Tulsi's view (something like, Hamas is dangerous for liberty so... what's happening to Palestine is not even worth mentioning). I'm not impressed with Joe on this one. With someone of Tulsi's calibre, Joe really needed to ask more questions rather than just doing all the talking and ranting about all the things we already know bother him. This shouldn't have been that sort of chat. I think she played you, Joe.

The British (or, rather, the powerful British elite who pulled the strings) had wanted war with Germany for years before WWI, mostly because Germany was quickly taking over from Britain as world leader in trade. For more complex reasons, Britain wanted (and this still continues to today) Russia and Germany never to be friends. Britain masterminded the Great War.   14. I think when Joe says that our "biology" has not kept up with the science and technology, he means our morality. Well, I do, anyway. And I reckon I could persuade him that that's what he means :-) For every one step taken in knowledge, three must be taken in morality. That ain't happening.

  15. Wait a second... this video seems to take your message one step further than before. These people in the rural areas are probably STARVING! These people in the fields are coming out to scrounge food in a natural and economic environment where there is nothing for them. Yes, it's part of the 'grab hag' spectrum, but it's also probably part of the famine spectrum. I think we can hate the government and what it does to the people, and hate the society where this sort of thing flourishes, but let's not forget these are individual people also. Each one doing what you or I would do, they have just lost their timidity or even their pride because there is a multitude of them and they are hungry! Who knows, maybe this was always a deal between the farmers and rural people, to come in and pick over what is left after the harvesters, and this guy is shouting get lost because there are bazillions of them and they are swarming and coming in earlier than they should because of the competition. Don't overplay your message, please. Your best videos are where you are more reporting, less editorialising. Cheers. Love your work.

I don't really understand what the word faith means, and I do not have a religious upbringing, but the evidence supports both the research brought by Dr John and by the Shroud, so I believe in both (until such time as the evidence does not support their veracity!)

Here is Aus, all healthcare workers, all educators (the list goes on and on) were mandated. Millions of people mandated. I lost my job because I chose not to get jabbed with something that wasn't tested and which I didn't need. And you say that, largely, people were not forced? You clearly don't understand the subtleties of coercion. But, again, probably just a troll.

Are you saying that because Plato wrote about Atlantis, then all memory and discussion of Atlantis post-Plato is due to Plato? So, all the memory of Atlantis for more than two thousand years since Plato is actually just a collective memory of... Plato? Whoa, I want you ask you so many questions about that logic, if indeed I understand you correctly.

So what? You think they 'themselves' called themselves "Atlanteans"? Way to straw man! You think ancient Americans called themselves "Americans"? Of course "Atlantis" has an origin in written documentation, just as you would have one. Doesn't mean you didn't exist before the documentation. Anyway, history itself - or the practice of history - can hardly be traced further back than Plato. And it was not much earlier than Plato that you have the invention of the very writing system by which Plato was able to record in Greek the experience of his ancestor in Egypt (Solon learning of Atlantis). That it was written about at all by Plato, that it was given any name at all, does not mean it is the source of the story of the sunken civilisation. Plato's was not the first to speak of the antediluvian world. And there are other sources of knowledge that can be traced. Good luck.
