I used to be a screw in HMP Glenochil. I was only a week in the job when Bradley came in to visit Mark Richardson, the top top man in Glenochil. The sniffer dogs were there that night. They sniffed him out at entrance. That meant he had to get ION scanned. The manager asked me to come with him to do it. We go in to a totally separate room from the reception area and my manager realised he forgot something. He left me as a rookie in a room with no cameras alone with Bradley. Dude couldn’t have been any sounder. We spoke about boxing, football etc. I have to say he was nothing but respectful and polite.

@ I can only answer that for me, not anyone else. Tbh I didn’t want to be an officer but I had my first son on the way, unemployed for a year, no grades, no real education. The SPS accepted me, I took it. So sue me big fella?

@ Thanks man, appreciate you. Yeah everything worked out in the end, I’m just glad to be away from there tbh mate, it was never a job that suited me or my personality. Not a nice place to be, even working in it.

@ Aye see I totally get that. I’ve got 3 kids and although I can’t relate to being in jail, I had issues with my ex in terms of contact with kids. Sorted now but like you say the years I missed out on no one can ever give me back. I totally understand your mentality there and I’m glad to hear doing well man
