Bring home? Taiwan's manufacturing industry has never been transferred from the United States. Intel has been producing semiconductors since 1958 but cannot make advanced ones. Taiwan's technology is not transferred from the United States. Do you think semiconductors are general factories? You can build a factory to produce semiconductors, so why don't you create a factory to produce F-35? Ignorance and naivety are the reasons for your failure. As for the 52 billion subsidies, do you think it is a lot? ? TSMC alone spent 44 billion in capital investment this year.

Only 5% of Taiwan's semiconductor production uses US technology. In 2002, the global semiconductor process technology reached 65 nanometers. As a result, chip manufacturing technology has encountered an insurmountable technical barrier. Burn Lin ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immersion_lithography ), vice president of TSMC, led TSMC engineers to develop immersion lithography technology, allowing the semiconductor industry to shift from dry lithography technology to water-based immersion lithography technology. Nonetheless, TSMC and the Netherlands ASML jointly developed EUV at the F12 B factory in Hsinchu, enabling tiny semiconductors below 2 nm. His subordinate, Dr. Anthony Yen, was later transferred to ASML as Vice President of R&D (https://engineering.purdue.edu/ECE/Alums/OECE/2018/anthony-yen)

When someone hits you on the right cheek, will you stick out your left cheek to let him hit? China wants to destroy Taiwan all day long. Will the Taiwanese be grateful?
