  2. while this is good for people who don't want the pipeline, why is noone pushing for Hemp? Hemp could replace oil over time and has multiple uses. Ford did use hemp in his car before Cannabis was made illegal. Europe uses hemp fibers for mold resistant homes. Cannabis isn't just marijuana.
