@Orange-Jumpsuit-Time Jordan is more centrist than McCarthy and doesn't have the baggage. He doesn't need to whip the votes when he can work with moderate Democrats, granted they don't stay lock step like there were under pelosi. The in fighting with Dems has to eventually pick a direction. Are democrats going to favor the moderates or the progressives?

@Orange-Jumpsuit-Time jokes ok. McCarthy is a salesman and partly responsible for not standing up on topics instead of going along with same talking points as pelosi. He's part of the failed leadership, if only McConnell would've been replaced in the Senate. If McCarthy is denied leadership role, it's a plus. Chip Roy is brash otherwise could work. Steve Scalise is popular enough in the party as an alternate to Jim Jordan. As far as Santos, he pulled a page from democrat handbook, nothing Kamala Harris hasn't done.
