  39. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ And then the jackal drops like a stone when they are 50 feet high. He squeals in fright, but has a burst of relief as he lands on something soft...until a blood-curdling growl nearly tears his skin off. The "soft thing" turns out to be nothing short of an irate adult male lion who had been taking a doze in peace. The jackal springs off the cat's enormous golden body to make a run for it...and realizes he's disturbed four male lion brothers. In terror he prances everywhere, with the lions trying to reduce him to bubble gum with their humoungous paws and jaws. Eventually, they get the puny canid stuck right between them, and lunge at their hapless victim...only to bash their heads into each other Tom and Jerry style. The jackal scampers, with the enraged felines in hot pursuit. An ass-melting two minutes are what it takes to tire them out, and he finally relaxes...only to accidentally slam into what seems like ten bags of cement stacked together. Not permitting himself more than four seconds to lie dazed on his back like a dead cat, the little mammal gets to his feet and realises it was the butt of a vicious rhinoceros! The enormous beast thus enrolls as another pursuer in those five minutes of the poor fellow. Eventually, a flowing river miles long enters the jackal's sight. Racing towards it as swiftly as his practically flying legs can carry him, he leaps at a log floating in it and successfully lands on the target. The rhino luckily decides he's not in the mood to splash into the cold water and grumpily leaves the scene. The jackal eventually heaves a sigh...which turns into a gulp and a shudder when the log begins wobbling. It turns out to not be a log at all, but a montrous crocodile who throws the wretched animal off, grabs him in his massive jaws and devours him there and then.
