  1. How moronic is this corporate idiot? Corporate taxes that Bernie wants to raise are on profits. If the government raises taxes, that has no direct effect on prices. Payroll taxes, property taxes and sales taxes directly raise costs on business and do feed into prices. But taxes on profits are AFTER the sales process so they can only effect prices if businesses collude illegally to jack up prices to ensure they make higher profits.
