  1. Producing meat and dairy consumes 77% of agricultural land produces a mere 17% of the calories we eat. If we cut of meat consumption in half, we could free up an area of land twice as big as the USA and feed everyone comfortably. It's a no brainier. Please cut you meat and dairy consumption today. Try it. It's easy peasy, it's good for your health, good for your wallet and it will have a big positive impact.

  2. Troy Wright No it wouldn't because soya is over 10 times more productive of calories per sq km than meat so you would need 10% the land to feed the same number of people. The problem is that we are feeding our food crops to animals when we should just feed people with them!
