Fine but that has a tiny impact. The science shows that the biggest change you can make personally is to reduce or eliminate animal products from your diet.

@Martial-Mat Because the immense amount of science shows that it is. The melting of Greenland is now almost irreversible. It will raise sea levels by 20m. It's just a matter of how long it takes. https://www.reading.ac.uk/news-and-events/releases/PR852158.aspx And there are many other such processes around the world. We are very close to the point where the feedback effects of CO2-induced warming take over. At which point we could stop emissions totally and the planet would still keep getting hotter. We aren't there yet but if we don't take drastic action we likely will be by the end of the decade. Which is why we must change our path immediately.

@Martial-Mat Greta Thunberg only says listen to the science and that's all you need to do to be very scared of what we have set in motion. If sea levels were 100m higher, or even 2m higher and temperatures 4C higher (which is what we are headed for by 2100 right now), the damage to life as we know it now would be unimaginable. Entire countries will be underwater. At least a billion people will have to relocate - that's twice the population of Europe. Water will be scarce. Entire crop producing regions will fail leading to food scarcity. This is not speculation- it's scientific consensus. And we don't have any time to wait. This decade, these next few years are our last chance. If we don't act now, the positive feedback of the warming we have already caused will become dominant and there will nothing at all we can do to stop the climate heating several more degrees. In a matter of decades. Again, not speculation but the consensus of mainstream science. This is absolutely unlike anything that the planet has ever experienced since complex life existed. No period of warming has been as sudden and rapid as this one. That's why it's so dangerous.
