Exactly Obama knew not to get into this because he understood that Russia had "escalatory dominance" - it would always be far more committed to the war than the US because it matters much more to Russia. NATO knew Putin would invade in Dec 21. They were offered a simple neutrality deal for peace, which they rejected because they were determined to expand NATO even at the cost of a war in Ukraine. Btw I'm not just saying this. It was spelled out in a speech by Jens Stoltenberg - the head of NATO! It was so candid it was quite shocking that he would admit it. Such is the sense of impunity amongst the elites in the MIC.

  3. Ukraine has lost and yet billions of dollars of our taxes go to the weapons pouring in and the US refuses to talk peace at every opportunity. Unfortunately the west has to wake up and realise that, as Obama knew, there was no point fighting this proxy war because it matters far more to Russia than it does to NATO and the US.
