And all this on the eve of a disastrous no deal Brexit. While the rest of Europe is gearing up to spend hundreds of billions (not a typo) on a green recovery, the U.K. will be on its own with no major trade deals and will be continuing the transfer of wealth upwards with bailouts to corporations and banks in the form absurd spending on HS2 (£100 billion), roads (£27 billion) and defence (£16 billion) while all they can find for a green recovery is £4 billion over 10 years. They are pitiful excuse for a government. They are fleecing us while we are distracted by the pandemic and paving the way for a catastrophic future.

@sdprz7893 How so? At the time, there was no deal agreed. Even the deal we have will cost the country a lot of money and jobs. And everything else I said is just as true now as on the day I wrote that comment.
