Did i miss the part where they said what these cameras do which is so threatening? Are these cameras all sending recordings back to China or something? If so, that would be extremely easy to spot. Where is the evidence for that?

@nicci24 i think that is pretty weak evidence honestly. I work in IT and most of these systems sit behind firewalls that monitor all outgoing traffic. If this was something these cameras tried to do, it would be noticed over and over again from thousands of users. Also in the Italian case, they don't even say what the traffic was. Maybe it was the cameras trying to get software updates. Maybe the cameras were hacked by a 3rd party nothing to do with the manufacturer. This scary conspiracy is possible I guess but I didn't here anything good evidence for it.
