This is what democracy against an unresponsive and dictatorial government looks like. If Brits did the same, the government wouldn't be able to turn the country into such a shtshow of rampant inequality, corruption, failing public services and decay.

@Poussindesdomtom what do you call it when the government enacts laws by decree without a vote in parliament and against the will of the people? I call that dictatorial. It certainly isn't democratic.

@Poussindesdomtom people re-elected him because the alternative was Le Penn. He is very unpopular as are his policies. Democracy isn't something that happens every 4 years at a national election. It is a principle of government that the people are in charge, not an oligarchic elite. You can split hairs about whether it's constitutional or not, but if you don't fight for you power and your democratic rights as s citizen, you can be sure you will lose them, as the British people have, as the American people have, etc. And when you lose that power, expect the government to trample all over your rights, your dignity and your future, for the benefit of the elite that has stolen your power.
