This year will have the least extreme weather that you will see for the rest of your life. The collapse of our climate is not inevitable though. It's a choice made by those in power. If you want to stop feeling so hopeless that you have to look away, remember, we do have the power to act. It won't be a comfortable experience. But we don't have any choice. Not if we really care about our lives ones.

It's normal to be so scared of the reality of the climate emergency that you have to deny it. But it won't serve you or your loved ones in the coming years.

That assumes that we live under a system that cares about people. It doesn't. We live under a system that is designed to concentrate power and seeks the enrichment of those with money already. That's why our governments are acting psychopathically. They are running a psychopathic system.
