Because he went to the same briefings as Trey Gowdy and could not fault the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election (which Gowdy described as all fair and above board) so Nunes is hiding so he can’t be questioned on it. He does not want to have to admit that the investigation is doing exactly what it’s meant to be doing. He is a coward and a liar.

Or “the ice caps are fine and are setting records (for being the biggest on record)” No, the ice caps are setting records for being the SMALLEST on record. “We need a wall to stop mass immigration from Mexico” No, the net rate of arrival of Mexicans is NEGATIVE. More are leaving the US than have been arriving and this has been true for at least 8 years. “On Obama’s demand, the FBI put a spy into the Trump campaign” aka Spygate No, the FBI was informed that the Russians were trying to infiltrate the Trump campaign so they started an investigation and used a CI to find out what the Russians were doing. The FBI investigates Federal crimes. The clue is in the name.

And still neck deep in the shit of the campaign and the interference by Russians. 17 million dollars is about 0.002% of what the the country spends each year on defence alone. If the Russians are undermining the elections (which all the intelligence agencies already agreed in Jan 17) wouldn’t you want that to be investigated and the perpetrators caught and sentenced? Or are you happy for the Kremlin to be rigging the US elections?

  10. Eric King Well if the FBI and CIA aren’t allowed to try to protect the country from foreign hostile powers intelligence operations then who is supposed to be doing that. You should be extremely grateful that we have such dedicated and patriotic men and women trying to keep the country safe, despite their commander in chief constantly attacking them and sharing classified information with our enemies in the Oval Office.
