8-bit Isaac err, no it didn't. The last attack in the UK involved 3 attackers with knives and they killed 8. The Las Vegas shooter killed 23 times more people than each of the London attackers.

Jim Bob, you are either being dishonest or delusional. The reasons for Stalin's massacres and the holocaust in WWII have nothing to do with what happens or could happen in the US today. Stalin did not send the army out to go and kill millions of Russians. Those that did not die in the WWII mainly died of starvation due to terrible economic planning, as also happened in China. The idea that if citizens weren't individually armed that the government would go out and slaughter them is not based on any fact or evidence. It's based on your paranoia and desire to keep your guns.

Robotron 123 why does the robber have the right to own a gun in the first place? Don't say "2nd amendment". I mean what legitimate purpose does he have to own a deadly weapon other than to defend himself from other individuals with guns? The argument is circular.

SasquatchRevenge what makes you "proud" about owning a weapon whose primary purpose is to end other people's lives? If everyone else in the country did not also have one, would you feel proud to own it? Would you feel the need to own it?

John Doe 777, 2 wrongs don't make a right. Are you seriously envisaging a day when you will get into a firefight to defend your family in your own home? Is that a course of action that you see happening? That approach is exactly why the murder rate is so high. Everyone carries guns because everyone else is carrying guns. It's a vicious cycle. If guns were much harder to come by, and the police could easily confiscate them then you would have fewer guns and fewer homicides. There was a massive argument about this stuff on Australia when they banned gun sales in the 90s. Turns out all that happened was that murder rates dropped like a stone. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Australia
