  1. Just in passing it occurs to me. I wonder how the gun lobby defenders explain the very high homicide rates in the US vs other similar countries. It seems to me that their are two basic options. 1. Guns are widely available and so that creates an environment where violence rates are highly elevated, or 2. It's not guns that create the elevated levels of violence. It's just that Americans are more violent by nature. The gun lobby rejected the first option so does that mean they implicitly accept the second one?

  2. meowmeow exactly. Just go back and watch footage of Fox after the Orlando shooting. It was full of bullshit about Muslim bans and securing our borders. This guy is white snd rich so Fox have no cards to play. So they say with a straight face and astonishing hypocrisy "now is not the time to politicise this...". Shysters.

  3. @Hector Morales, WHAT?!? The victims where hundreds of metres away from the shooter who was firing from a room high up in a hotel room. They would have needed to be armed with sniper rifles with scopes to have a chance of hitting him. Is that what you had in mind?
