  4.  @LewisC-t1f  Because Spain has the 6th lowest fertility rate in Europe and will need immigrants The average fertility rate in Latin America is 2.3 which is slightly above replacement rate and it's declining but they have to compete with USA Canada western Europe and Australia for them Eventually they won't be able to get enough of them to fill the needs of Spain India fertility rate is 2.1 which is the replacement rate too but it's also declining and there's also fierce competition for them Only Africa has way above replacement rate and there's less competition for them Spain doesn't have USA Canada Germany Sweden advantages to attract high value immigrants so they will have to settle for Africans Also as the economy of African countries is improving although at very slow rate it may get to the point where Spain will be less attractive for Africans and not worth the cost of migration maybe by 2090
