@Mikhail-Tkachenko The British royal family has zero political power, and it's been that way for a very long time. They are the PR for British businesses and products both at home and abroad. They also help run, and raise funds for, hundreds of British charities. And they cost the average Brit just £1/year. I don't see the point in whining about £1 for all of the work they do. Why do you think Meghan Markle left? She found out that the royal family were civil servants, not lords of all they survey, and she wouldn't stand for having to work for a living.
