  5. Because American food is garbage. Just for one example, look at the research that Harvard did on high-fructose corn syrup, which is in practically everything. The food manufacturers have so much clout with the government that they were able to get the labeling rules changed so that they don't have to list hfcs as such! Putting hfcs in our food ought to be prosecuted as mass murder.

I kept coming across out of date info and thought, that's totally doable, and then I saw the up to date figures. $7,300/monthly income or $300k in the bank? Who wants to keep $300k in liquid assets?   12. The agents weren't authorized to take them, so the FBI agents stole them imo. They took them contrary to the limitations of the search warrant. So since the government didn't give them authorization, then they did it against the law. If FBI agents just walked up to you and without authorization took your passport out of your pocket, would that be legal in your estimation? As far as I know, a badge doesn't give the FBI carte blanche to do whatever they feel like doing.

  13. What's stopping you from planning your strategy? The way things are going, you don't have the luxury of hoping for that high income because there's a good chance that'll never happen. As soon you start to make real money, the government will take it. The foxes are in charge of the henhouse and they've "fortified" the election process to ensure their permanent residence in said henhouse.

Reagan breathed life back into it, and it stayed on a pretty healthy level until Clinton started tinkering. Then the economy took a nosedive; of course, the media and the Democrats didn't blame Clinton, they blamed Bush, which was a laugh riot because Bush hadn't even taken office, yet. Draconian regulations puts a monkey wrench into the process even when taxes are lower. The volatile tax rate also discourages businesses from investing back into businesses here in America because they can't trust the government not to hold them up at gunpoint from one year to the next. Look at Denmark; they are far more business friendly than the US - lower business taxes and lower regulations - because they know that capitalism fuels their government. Denmark loves its government programs, but you don't have revenue for government programs (or government, period) without healthy businesses providing the revenue. The US government, on the other hand, has been determined to strangle the business sector every which way from Sunday.

We, the US, almost started WW3 when the Soviet Union did the same in Cuba. Remember the Cuban missile crisis? Ukraine has also been shelling Russian-speaking Ukrainians for eight years! The children don't remember what it was like to play outside in safety. Don't believe me? There are at least seven years of news clips on YouTube by French and other countries' news organizations of the shelling in Donetsk by Ukrainian forces. Ukraine also blocked off the main source of water into Crimea eight years ago, resulting in an eight-year drought in Crimea. They haven't had running water for more than 4-6 hours a day for eight years. If Ukraine had done this to the US, we would have crushed them years ago.

Government jobs now pay more than the private sector; in California, government job salaries are double salaries in the private sector. So, it takes about 33% of every private sector salary to pay for government employees. Makes my hair stand on end.

The clause is very clear, but SCOTUS ripped it out and threw it away. If you're in ecommerce, you know what a hornets nest they created. 10,000 sales tax districts, constantly changing, but every individual entrepreneur is responsible for knowing and complying with all of them.   26. I've heard of people crossing in the middle of pastures. Around Idaho, I think. No roads, no check points. If I were going to do it, once inside the US, I wouldn't tell anyone that I was Canadian. Now, I wouldn't try it unless it's full-on summer. Also, I would do it where there are woods on both sides. Probably Alaska. I wouldn't have anything on me that says I'm a Canadian or that I live there. I would try to get a Visa or MC credit card from a US bank and use that for money. I would have a compass and a backpack; if I were stopped, I would say that I was backpacking. I would also change clothes while in the woods so that I would look different from when I entered the woods, because I understand that they use drones to monitor the more remote parts of the border. I don't know if it would work and yes, I know I give this kind of thing too much thought.

Harris wanted to not only let them sunset next year, but raise taxes on top of that.   45. Accountability for what? Years ago, Judicial Watch took Bill Clinton to court over classified documents that he had in his possession after he left office. The court ruled that anything that a former president has in his possession is presumed declassified by default. And since all of that stuff has to be presumed to be declassified, he can do anything he wants with it. He could have it printed in the New York Times or published on the internet, if he chooses.

  46. I always owe more than my employer takes out; I don't get a refund. The average refund is only about $2000. I guarantee you that it's a small fraction of what they paid in. My income is just slightly above the average in my state, and I pay more than $1000/month and like I said, I end up sending more with my tax return, no refund. And that's just the federal. We have very high state taxes, too, one of the 5 highest state tax rates in the country.
