  1. I agree. I've seen people say that he's a liar, but they're just spewing western propaganda. I've seen absolutely nothing that leads me to believe that he ever lies. On the contrary, if Putin says something, he means it, and you can take it to the bank.

  2. That's without taking into account that average Russian wages and prices are about 1/3 that of the US average. Taking that into account, the gdp per capita is even-steven between Russia and the US.

  3. I believe, from what I've heard about the guys at the Kremlin, and his domestic policies, is that Putin is THE sharpest knife in that drawer. He is the most far-seeing, the most measured leader that Russia could have.

  4. I don't see how. It was a Japanese man, not a foreigner. In the case of Franz Ferdinand, he was visiting another country. The assassination of an Austrian by a Serbian is what triggered the war.
