What if you woke up tomorrow and the government had decided overnight that you were going to lose everything you own because of where you were born, or some other ridiculous reason?

  4. Loyalty isn't the point. The point is that the man hasn't been convicted of a crime or even accused of anything except being born in an unfavored country. No due process. No sense to it at all. If they can take away everything from him just because of where he happened to be born, they can take everything away from you on a whim, too.

So tomorrow the government takes everything you own because you were born in [fill in the blank] or some other ridiculous reason, and your neighbors don't like you because of what you do for a living, like a tax collector, for instance, or an attorney, or a garbage man, and they applaud as you're evicted from your home. Sure, let's do that, since you think that's fair.

What if the government decided tomorrow that they didn't like where you were born, or some other arbitrary aspect of your existence, and froze your bank account and took away your home? Fired you from your job? Because that's what's happening.
