@jacobedwards4747 Are you kidding? We have more regulations, more punitive laws, and more people in prison than any other western country. We have the least business-friendly government among first-world countries. By just about any metric, we are no longer a free country. If you still think so, it's only because you haven't come under the scrutiny of some bureaucrat.
