As a historian, you might be interested to know that vigilatism was the law in Anglo-Saxon England. Families were responsible for exacting justice on the offenders from other families. The law outlined what you were allowed to do to the criminal. In a case like this, you probably couldn't do anything more interesting to the offender than hand them over to the Church, who had all kinds of entertaining things to do to people like this.

inovade It isn't all over the internet because it isn't pc. Just like it took years and years to convince gays that Muslims execute gays. I was called a liar many times until popular television dramas started talking about it. Islamweb is a website run by the government of Qatar to teach the Quran. This is a quote from the website: "We cannot define a specific age for marriage. But, as a general rule, if a boy or girl reaches the age of puberty, they should not delay the marriage if they are able to marry." So 12 or 13 is the appropriate age for marriage.

@nachoguy5 Blood feuds, or family wars, were more common in the late medieval/early modern period. That was the purpose of 15th century fortified manor houses and weapons stashes. Wives had to defend their homes when their husbands were away from home, and sometimes had their houses burned down around them. However, you may be thinking of Renaissance Italy, Romeo and Juliet, all that. Anglo Saxon England was nothing like that.
