I suspect that Henry had a genetic defect that prevented him from fathering healthy children. Look at Katherine of Aragon's many failed pregnancies. Several miscarriages. One child died at 3 years old. Mary was the only one who lived to adulthood. Anne Bolyen had several miscarriages, and only Elizabeth survived. Henry Fitzroy was sickly, as was Edward. It's not a secret that Henry couldn't keep his pants on; he should have had bastard children galore. Mary was barren. We don't know about Elizabeth or Edward. Henry Fitzroy had no children. In an age without reliable birth control, that's not right.

@kets4443 And Scotland might still be a country of two roads and little huts. It was the Scottish lords coming to London to attend Parliament that opened their eyes to what society could look like.
