  1. Russia is only being canceled because they aren't a western country. The US has done far, far worse with less provocation in the last 10 years in many places in the world, but gets away with it. In fact, this whole thing is our fault, since President Obama backed a coup to oust the duly elected Ukrainian president and installed a pro-NATO puppet regime. We're actually the bad guys.

  2.  @JAMESRS58  It may only be worthless for buying outside of Russia. If they aren't buying imported goods, it doesn't make much difference what the ruble is worth internationally. Besides, Russia has goods that they can use to trade with other countries, like China. They don't need fiat currency for international trade.
