  1. It isn't just Gen Z. 30 years ago, I was at O'Hare airport at a very busy bookstore. There was one clerk in the store, and she couldn't stop gabbing on the [push-button] phone for 30 seconds to check out customers who wanted to buy something. I watched her for 15 minutes and she was glued to the phone the entire time. I was morbidly fascinated. She couldn't leave the desk because it was a "real" phone with a cord and a receiver.

  20.  @sarahzimmerman2953  Make your own. My mom did. Recipes are online; it's what most American mothers did before the 1970s. In fact, so many women used home-made formula instead of breastfeeding that doctors and nurses in my town had to learn how it goes all over again when it became fashionable to breastfeed in the 1970s.
