  4. I'm astonished that any adult would consider it appropriate to judge an actor by how they play a character in a movie! Jack Sparrow is a drunken pirate, too, not Johnny Depp in real life. I don't understand why any professional would even seriously consider analyzing a man by some role he played in a movie.

  5.  @rivenoak  There's a reason why most civilizations throughout history have had rules. There is behavior that's good for a civilization and the gene pool, and behavior that isn't. And once you let go of the rules, then every generation becomes more and more corrupt. We're seeing that play out in real time.

She claims he broke her nose, tore hunks of her hair out by the roots, dragged her over broken glass, and raped her with a broken bottle, but she never went to a doctor for treatment? This is an actress; her looks are her bread and butter. This is a woman who has plastic surgery to give her bigger cheekbones, but she'll risk a crooked nose and scars? Not buying it.

  17. To be fair, my sister said that our mom poisoned her and our brother when they were little, and our mom was rude and insulting all our lives, totally unloving, but when our mother died, she made a huge deal about how much she missed her. Go figure.
