  1. ​ @Mark70609 Socialism is anti-entrepreneur and anti-private property. Denmark is a capitalist, pro-private-business country because they know that private industry pays for its social programs. You see, socialism only pretends to be for the little guy; without incentives to strive and thrive, thereby providing a leg up to everyone, nobody thrives. People need incentives to perform well; as someone put it, if you were in school and tried your best to get high grades, would you be happy if the teacher just averaged all the grades and gave everyone the same? Socialists want to change human nature so that humans will work hard to do well, but be happy giving the fruits of their labor to people who won't work hard, or even work at all, while taking no more for themselves than those other people get. That's always a disaster. Did you know the thing that makes people angriest? A sense of injustice. You can't strip a person of everything they worked for without getting resentment in return. People stop trying, or they move to a more friendly part of the world.

  2. ​​ @dianeandrews7873 We (the US) throw money at almost every country. That's how we twist arms to make them do what we want. Usually that's a bad thing, but maybe it can do some good, now. If we stop shoveling money at governments like Starmer's and Trudeau's, and let it be known that's the reason, maybe their rich backers will go away.
