  10. Then you don't understand Trump. Tariffs on imported goods, like Trump wants, encourage domestic production. Bringing back industry has been his goal since he ran for president in 2016. As for war, he's the most anti-war president we've had for a hundred years. He talks tough, then shows the heads of hostile governments how they would benefit from an alliance. It works.
