  1. I have to wonder how that first lady mailed the check. Did she just put it in her own mailbox for pickup, or did she live in a building where people just put their outgoing mail on a shelf for pickup? That's actually a thing in my town, and no surprise, a lot of mail gets stolen. You couldn't pay me to put my outgoing mail on a communal shelf!

  2. It's the world they asked for. They love all that stuff. They just don't understand what the consequences will be. My grown kids think I'm a horrible old fuddy duddy; they really don't know what they've asked for.

  3. It wasn't her personal account, it was the homeowners association account. She was paying workers who did work for the homeowners association. I read the article.
