@gardenangel51 "I was always told" is a dead giveaway that you don't bother to find out for yourself. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

@IAllegedly In the comments section. I just reported 20 spam comments for bogus financial advisors in this comments section. I'm sure there are a lot more.

Honestly, I don't know if it isn't too late to buy hoping that the price will double or triple. I bought gold when it was $300/ounce and then silver when it was $12/ounce. I don't see the kind of gains I've seen happening again in the foreseeable future, but I didn't foresee them when I bought back then, either.

Ramsey is mostly just plain common sense. Being in debt, paying usurous interest rates, is like putting your hard-earned money in a pile in the back yard and setting fire to it.

I buy gold at melt price, like jewelry that people are getting rid of on ebay. I buy only from American accounts. Lots of people sell gold jewelry for just what they can get out of it because either #1. they inherited it and don't want it or #2. they're going through a divorce. I prefer stuff without stones because the weight they give isn't inflated by a potentially cheap stone. That said, my own sister-in-law told me that she sold her engagement ring from her ex like that on ebay. She didn't care what she got for it; she just wanted it gone. She said that someone got a very good deal.

His advice for getting out of debt is just common sense. Being in debt, paying usurous interest rates, is like setting fire to your money. It looks pretty for a few minutes and then it's gone.

That's not happening in most of the country.
