According to the CDC, "The trend among the very youngest kids is being driven by high hospitalization rates in five states: Georgia, Connecticut, Tennessee, California and Oregon, with the steepest increases in Georgia, the CDC said." So what is going on in those 5 states that's different? That's what we should be asking.

  2. So what is wrong with this child that she had such a bad reaction? Most children that age don't have receptors in their cells for covid, yet. The older a child gets, the more receptors, but at 6 there are very few. My 12-year-old grandson had it last year and he had a slight cough for a couple of days, that's all.

  3. There has to be something wrong in that girl, like an undiagnosed illness that is suppressing her immune system. Look at the hospitalization statistics by age; it's extremely rare for a child that age to be hospitalized by covid; they don't normally have enough receptors in their cells to allow the virus to replicate.
