  2. That actually happened to a local young man who was raising money for a charity. A reporter for the local paper decided to take him down, and found an un-pc Facebook post he made when he was 16. That made a lot of people angry, because the young man was otherwise as clean as could be and was doing something very good for the community, so someone tracked down the reporter's social media posts. It turned out that the reporter had a lot of skeletons in his closet and got fired when it came out.
