  1. Wow, man, how many teenage girls do you know? She wasn't that bright, but married off at only 15 to an equally unintelligent French prince in the French court, a pit of vipers which were bent on making her life miserable. Her husband was uninterested in her in any capacity; she had no friends. Her husband's family hated her. Her mother blamed her. Can you imagine the nightmare for a naive young girl of 15? No, obviously you are devoid of any empathy whatsoever.

  2. To be fair, Maria Theresa was brilliant, a real Amazon queen. Marie Antoinette was probably no more than average in intelligence at best, like her father, and out of her depth in that pit of vipers. It was a lamb to the slaughter.
