  1. Business attire isn't "fashion"! It has nothing to do with fashion or self-expression; in fact, quite the opposite. It isn't a valued attitude in Japan to think, "Nobody has the right to tell me what to do" or to value self expression over the group. People who think like that will quickly find out that there are repercussions.
