@robertgrey1377 that's awesome for you, I'm very happy for you. So getting the same treatment under the law is all people are asking for. If there should be distinctions for 'traditional marriage', then the churches or synagogues or what have you, are the ones that can do that and make that distinction. In the eyes of the government they have to be identical, to make it otherwise again puts one group over another. You're right, the religions can and do whatever they want. Nobody is going to force any religious group to accept those they don't agree with. That would be unconstitutional, i don't think you'll find anybody that would disagree with that.

@robertgrey1377 i didn't want in any way come across as a jerk or anything, so i hope i didn't. I'm very glad we were able to discuss issues politely and not descend into name calling and insults. So thank you. I just want to add one more thing. If we ever adopt this 'traditional marriage' stuff, then traditionally (because it's been this way for far longer) it would be 'one man, 15 wives'.

@robertgrey1377 i didn't get married in a church, we just signed our marriage license and turned it into the county clerk. Do you consider us 'really' married? By the way, who is forcing churches to perform weddings they don't agree with?
