  1. "They found a way out". That's been my reaction to learning of friends who have committed suicide. I know many times I would just rather not feel anything than what I'm feeling now.

  3. I wish that I didn't have to live like this. But what can I do when I can't find a surgeon that will do the procedure I need to have done? I've gone through 46 surgeons, and only one was going to do it, but backed out the day before.

Yeah, it is "normal" in that not only have you had enough suffering and just want to be done, but you also recognize, or come to the realization that of the probably millions of trillions of people that have existed since time began, there's one thing they all have in common. They all died. And I get a rather calming zen feeling knowing that.

  5. Yes, it is what is called "inevitable". When pain is what you experience all day, every day, and I'm sorry but "20 more years of THIS? And its only going to get worse? No thank you".
