  1. I’m always interested in cultural differences. When I first met my wife and asked her for a date (at the same time) I noticed that she was very dark skinned. She didn’t speak much English but told me that she was visiting from Thailand. When she introduced me to her Women friends I was surprised how much much lighter they all were. My wife said it was the custom for Women to avoid tanning. But she didn’t follow the rules because she loved to feel the sun on her skin. We’ve been married since 1980, she still bakes in the sun and I still think she’s beautiful.
