  1. In the early 1970s I was a new Army MP and I was assigned an attractive black woman as my Field Training Officer. She was very professional with short hair. Naturally I asked her out. When I picked her up she saw my expression and had a good laugh. She had picked her hair out huge and puffy. I had no idea that was possible. She was beautiful. A couple weeks later she saved my life when a suspect tried to kill me. We lived together for for almost two years before I got shipped overseas.
