  3. One of my MP partners returned from leave with a jar of moonshine made by a relative. He poured us half shots topped with water. I couldn't drink it. Too strong. But everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

  5. I grew up in Los Angeles, California and we used to visit Knotts Berry Farm for lunch, before the rides, and I was always given an actual dry licorice root. I wonder how safe that was.

  7. I'm getting over acute pancreatitis. It's miserable. When I stopped drinking ETOH and consuming excess dairy I began recovering quickly.
