  1. In the early 1970s the Marine Corp didn't have a Military Police school so they trained with us in the Army. Great American Patriots. We exchanged tales of Basic Training vs Boot Camp. I remember thinking that Marine training sounded maybe 10% harder, physically, than we were subjected to but the psychological pressure sounded literally inhuman. Drill Sergeants warned us we were being prepared to survive in a North Vietnamese prison camp. That's from half century ago.
