  1. They are so majestic! If you are lucky enough to have a yard you have wildlife to conveniently enjoy. I put a trail camera out in my yard because I saw a skunk. I live in a city so I was surprised. I was more surprised when as many as 8 skunks were in my yard every night and my Bichon was hanging out with them! I've named 12 skunks. Now I'm hanging out with them and they are very sweet. We also have as many as 6 raccoons in the front yard every night but they seem afraid of our harmless dog. And me. I'm working with a couple of paper wasp nests. At least 4 Queens returned from last year and they are working together. I think they remember me. Hymenoptera recognize human faces. My brother and I don't wear protection when we work with our bees. You just need to spend time with them and be gentle. I generally don't wear a shirt so I look the same each day. I've never been stung in my yard. Teach children that nature is all around them. They don't have to seek it out. Just look down.
