When I got back from overseas I was desperate for a job and applied for things I simply wasn't qualified for. A researcher hired me despite my having zero qualifications. He had to teach me how to do everything before I could do it. I met my wife there. She was doctoral candidate. He kept me on until I was hired by to be a cop. He told me he was not accepted by the military and this was his was of contributing. Helping one veteran at a time successfully return to the real world. He's a hero in my opinion. Oh, I have to add this. He told me I could start after the Thanksgiving break. Then he handed me several $20 bills "for Thanksgiving dinner". Amazing person.
