@markstewart3627 It's not complicated. It's an obscenity. Actual Christians don't use those. Or at least Lutherans don't, that's how I was raised and what I quit. Making excuses for Unchristian behavior doesn't change anything.

@alex754411 True, I suppose. I gave it up in 1968. But I was brought up to be a Lutheran and I was serious about it until I went to catechism and discovered the answer to every question is god is mysterious and we must just believe without the slightest reason except for them telling us to. Even as a child I realized this is nonsense and in an extremely painful process I lost my faith. I've never missed it.
