  2. In my small town in California we have lots of wild turkeys. Big, heavy, beautiful birds. The chicks are not afraid of people. You cannot feed them or they run up to children and their parents freak out. Then the city pays for them to be relocated. When they tear up my foam roof and the garden it's frustrating but they are really very sweet animals and we would rather have them than not.
