  6. There’s absolutely no reason to send humans to Mars. Certainly not very many. Mars will try to kill our astronauts on a daily basis. A scientific expedition sure. A colony ship? Not in our lifetimes.

  8. The regolith is toxic. There’s no breathable atmosphere. There’s nothing to do there except struggle to survive. If Musk was truly a visionary, he’d be trying to repair the Earth. He’s showboating to obtain tax money for his hobbies.
